Meet the artist
Hi, I’m Ruby – thanks for joining me!
I am a Sydney-based artist, originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, and I have a deep love and appreciation for nature. My work focuses on the intertwining flow of light and colour found in the sky, sea, and all flora and fauna in between. I enjoy utilising oil paint to recreate the depth and vibrancy of the world around us. My hope is that my paintings serve, not only as pieces of art, but also as reminders to care for the natural world around us. |
Ruby lives and works on the stolen lands of the Gadigal and Borogegal people. She pays her respect to Elders past & present and extends that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples today. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
